Colleen was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.

She never realized how influenced and inspired she was by the music that her parents loved and that moved her father so deeply. The voices of Hank Williams, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, filled the home.

Songwriting and expressing herself through the written word was something that was woven into the fabric of her psyche.

When the spirit moves her she writes from the male perspective as well. (The first twelve songs on the site are written for men.) After hearing some of her tunes, a songwriter convinced and encouraged her to take her songs to the next level. She says, “what, an amazing thrill it would be to have artists want to sing and record your songs!”

Little did she know how difficult the journey, that she was about to embark on would be. Having over-come a monumental and traumatic setback she continues on her quest.

As a tribute to her late father and loving mother who always believed her songs should be heard and to the loved ones and those who support her dream, she perseveres and will not give up until she drinks from the silver cup.

Colleen lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
